Stepping Stones Day Nursery & Pre-School was visited by an Ofsted inspector on 28th March 2023 who graded the nursery Outstanding across all areas.
Nursery Manager Kirsty Cordery said: “I am delighted with the grading that Ofsted has given us - it truly reflects the hard work this team puts in every day; I am so proud of them and what we have achieved together.”
The report states that “children experience an inspirational indoor and outdoor learning environment” and that “Parents are extremely complimentary of the education and care their children receive.”
The management team are also commended; the report noted: “They have excellent procedures in place to ensure staff continually enhance their existing knowledge and skills for children's benefit.”
Managing Director Alec Hodson said: “I am thrilled that Ofsted have given Stepping Stones the highest grading possible; a huge well done to Kirsty, Lauren (Deputy Manager) the Stepping Stones team and the many people who work tirelessly in the background to support this achievement.”
